Press Release! How to Manage a Small Law Firm Preferred Vendor

March 18, 2021

Legal Ease Bookkeeping is pleased to announce that our company has been added to the preferred vendor list of the fast growing, very popular How to Manage a Small Law Firm group.  HTM works with attorneys as their CEO/assistant/community to help them quickly grow their law firm and answers any pertinent questions they may have along the way.

Growing your firm does not have to be difficult, but it can be tiresome to attempt on your own.  When you join this friendly, energetic community, you will have the resources and fire you need to grow your business as quickly as you want, bringing in clients and revenue like never before.

HTM offers an exclusive vendor list for you to go to for hiring needs, such as bookkeepers, writers, and virtual assistants.  The process to achieve listing with them is not easy, because they want only the best, most dedicated professionals serving their attorneys.  Here is a little behind the scenes look at what it takes to get on their vendor list:

  1. Annual application fee of $500.  This quickly weeds out the vendors that just want to make a quick buck without putting out any investments.  Legal Ease was glad to comply with this requirement in order to seek out serious law clients.
  2. Five client referrals required.  Vendors with unhappy clients are likely to fail with their new clients, as well.  HTM goes to great lengths to search out any issues a vendor may have with her clients, and get them straightened out.  The five referrals have to be clients willing to conduct a phone interview stating how pleased they are with the vendor’s first rate service.  Obviously, this also means that the vendors are not beginners, and already have a successful client base.
  3. A fast-paced document submission request.  Potential vendors for HTM need to prove that they are legitimate businesses, have the correct insurance, and can fill out and turn in the required documents within 60 days.  This ensures that these vendors are organized, have all of their ducks in a row, so to speak, and can meet deadlines.  These are all qualities a law firm would require when seeking out contractors.
  4. An intensive interview with the vendor.  Once HTM speaks with the 5 referrals, they will compile the information they received, and call up the vendor.  Any problems those referrals might have mentioned are brought up, and the vendor can work on getting those resolved.  If there were no problems, the vendor can then talk through her business, goals, values, and how she plans to serve her clients better in the future.  HTM will decide based on these qualifiers (referral interviews, paperwork, and vendor interview) whether they make the cut for the preferred list.

Many vendors take a look at the process HTM requires to get on their list, and move along.  Legal Ease decided to jump in and complete the requirements.  We are pleased to announce that we passed every stage with flying colors!  Our clients are pleased with our work, and HTM is glad to promote our business to their community.  Out of the entire vendor list, Legal Ease Bookkeeping is one of only 3 bookkeepers that achieved this status!  Contact Legal Ease Bookkeeping if you are ready to turn up the service level in your bookkeeping and allow your law firm to focus on the rest of the business.
